The Corvallis Interact Club

 

About 75 students at Corvallis High School are active members of the Corvallis Interact Club.  They learn the value of community and the importance of giving back for all that the community provides to them as they provide community service above self.  As sponsors of the club, the Hamilton Rotary Club offers funding for their projects as well as adult supervision.  Among the projects each year, Corvallis Interact does: a Paper Drive to collect paper products which they donate to SAFE, a local Women's Shelter; a food drive to collect food for Haven House, a local food bank;  Bell Ringing at the holidays to collect money for gifts for needy children and families.  Each year the Interact club also cleans litter from the Eastside Highway south of Corvallis.  Members are also eligible for Rotary Scholarships and the opportunity to attend RYLA, a summer leadership camp for HighSchool students about to enter their Junior year.
